About

Born and raised in a family immersed in the industry, entrepreneur and investor Jarod Machinga has been involved with construction projects his entire adult life. He formally ventured into the field in the 1990s as a college student while pursuing a BS in Engineering Science from the College of New Jersey (formerly Trenton State College). Unable to afford off-campus housing, Machinga purchased his first investment property: a fixer-upper which he renovated himself, later renting it out.

As the years passed, Machinga continued buying houses, eventually outgrowing the residential market. Soon after, he widened his scope and began pursuing commercial real estate investments, eventually taking the leap to form his own businesses. Now, he is the owner and operator of JAMAC, JAMAC Construction, JAMAC Electric, and JAMAC Plumbing. In addition to these ventures, Machinga also manages numerous real estate investments.

From their humble beginnings, Machinga has used his industry insights and entrepreneurial expertise to grow JAMAC and its affiliated ventures over the years. Now, they are multi-million-dollar businesses that operate in both commercial and residential construction as well as property management. Together, Machinga’s companies have completed high-profile work projects in five states across the nation.

As JAMAC and its affiliated ventures have grown exponentially over the years, Machinga’s role within them has changed significantly. Rather than managing the companies’ day-to-day operations, he now focuses his energy on optimizing their overall performance and strategically planning their directions.

A lifelong learner, Machinga is a firm believer in the importance of continuing education. In addition to his undergraduate degree from the College of New Jersey, Machinga also holds a Master’s degree in Business Administration and a PhD in Applied Management and Decision Sciences from Walden University. He is a licensed irrigation contractor, licensed electrician, and licensed plumber. He has also obtained a Blue Seal boiler license and Blue Seal refrigeration license.

In addition to his work with JAMAC, JAMAC Construction, JAMAC Electric, and JAMAC Plumbing, Machinga’s professional background also boasts significant work experience in carpentry, designing, facility management, and technical engineering. Machinga is based currently out of Hopewell, New Jersey where he continues to oversee real estate investments and the strategic direction of his many business ventures. He is an avid reader, innovative thinker, and an incredibly hard worker.
